"Home is where the Placenta is" was the key phrase for the bunch of happy riders, anxious to go home and cross the finish line at beautiful Placentia Resort. After climbing some really nice hills, they descended gradually to sea level, and followed roads they had seen a few days before from the other side. The time gaps between contestants being pretty large, nobody was willing to try to escape and they were eight riders to get to the Placentia gate together in exactly 4 hours, really happy to have completed the first Temple to Temple race. The rest of the bunch followed afterwards, all smiling under a face painted red by the dust of the last 30 km.

After a shower and a swim in the giant pool or in the sea, all racers gathered for diner at the pier's bar. Winners in both categories, belizean Roger Troyer and German Kirsten Roesel (who has wo all seven stages in front of belizean Shalini Zabanin), were given their prizes and medals in a friendly and improvised ceremony.

A wild party followed at the pool bar, where participants showed their talents in singing, dancing, german pole dancing, swimming and kayaking. Ah, and drinking too. Karaoke DJ said it was the best party he had in years.
